Music on Hold


Music on Hold configuration

Play an uploaded audio (music) or video file for callers on hold.


Initial Music on hold page includes:

1. Ability to add a Music on hold file for both Group and Department

    • Click on the plus ‘+’ icon to bring up a modal window to create a new music on hold

2. Ability to search for a music on hold file from the list.

3. Ability to modify an existing music on hold by clicking on any listed


Modify Music on hold

The following configuration for music on hold is available:

1. Settings

    • Enabled During Call Hold

    • Enabled During Call Park

    • Enabled During Busy Camp On

    • User Alternate Source for Internal Calls

2. General Audio

    • Audio Codec

    • Announcement Type

    • Audio File

      • Click '+' icon to upload an audio file

      • Click 'list' icon to select from available list of existing announcement

3. Internal Audio

    • Audio Codec

    • Announcement Type

    • Audio File

      • Click '+' icon to upload an audio file

      • Click 'list' icon to select from available list of existing announcement


NOTE:

The system requires certain file formats for playback. A simple file conversion will be done automatically, therefore you may upload any audio format such as an .MP3 or .WAV
