Trunk Group


Trunk Group configuration

Allows a group of users on a device to have a restricted number of active calls.


Trunk Group initial page includes:


  1. Call Capacity

Displays the maximum number of simultaneous calls available for your group to use in trunking groups and the number of simultaneous calls already allocated to existing trunk groups.

    1. Max Active Calls

    2. Max Bursting Calls


  1. Trunk Groups

    1. Add a trunk group by clicking on the plus ‘+’ icon.

    2. Displays a list of available Trunk Group(s). Click on any to edit and modify the settings.


Create Trunk Group

Trunk Group create page includes:


  1. Required fields to be filled out:

    1. Trunk Name

    2. Max Active Calls


  1. Optional fields (recommended)

    1. Max incoming calls

    2. Max outgoing calls

    3. Access Device

    4. Department Name

    5. Authentication

    6. Trunk Group identity

    7. OTG identity

    8. Prefix enabled

    9. Other settings (varies by license type)

    10. Call optimization policy

    11. CLID policy

    12. CL asserted ID policy

    13. Charge number policy


Modify Trunk Group

The following configuration settings for a trunk group are available:

  • Call Capacity

  • Call Forward

  • Settings (main)

  • Stateful Rerouting

  • Unreachable destinations

  • Users (Trunk Users)

  • Users Hosted
